Whatnot fees in 2026
Whatnot charges two fees. A commission on the sale price, not including shipping or tax, and payment processing of 2.9% plus $0.30 on the order total, including shipping and tax.
Since September 21, 2026, commission rates are tiered by your sales over a rolling four-week period. Most sellers start on the Standard tier, which is 8% in most categories. Larger sellers pay less, and some categories, such as electronics and coins, have lower rates. Check your current rate in your Whatnot seller account and enter it in the calculator.
Shipping on Whatnot
Buyers pay for shipping, and it covers the label, so it does not add to your payout. It does count toward the processing fee, which is why the calculator asks for it.
