Terms of Use

These Terms apply to the Simple Resume mobile application.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and us ("we," "us," or "our"), the developer of Simple Resume & CV Builder ("Simple Resume" or the "App"). By downloading or using Simple Resume, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App

Simple Resume helps you prepare resumes, CVs and cover letters from templates, check how readable your resume is for applicant tracking systems, compare it with a job description and keep track of your job applications. Features may change over time as we improve the App. Simple Resume is for personal use.

Your documents and results

You are responsible for the content of your resumes, cover letters and applications, and for making sure it is accurate. The ATS readiness score, feedback and keyword matching are guidance based on general practices. Every employer and applicant tracking system works differently, so they do not guarantee how a system will read your resume, or that you will get an interview or a job.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Simple Resume on Apple devices you own or control, only as permitted by these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Usage Rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, sell, or redistribute the App or its content except where law allows.

Purchases

If the App offers paid features, payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. Any subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. Refunds and billing questions are handled under Apple's policies.

Your information

Your documents, application records and settings are saved on your device only, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for backing up anything you want to keep.

Disclaimer

Simple Resume is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our owners, officers, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Simple Resume. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for Simple Resume in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) fifty US dollars (USD $50).

Apple

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for Simple Resume or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure of Simple Resume to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the current version at this URL and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Simple Resume after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
